The Greatness of Our God

“I spend my life to know and all You are the Greatness of Our God, And no sky contains, or doubt restrains to all You are the Greatness of Our God”.

Today’s verse: Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands! Psalms 90:17

Today’s Reflection: As I was walking around the neighborhood I stopped and took in the majestic works of God in everything around me while I was on my walk this morning. Today I wanted to share you this picture above because it brings everything in to glorify the majestic works of God’s wonderful handiwork that is displayed in nature.

From my walk this morning.

It is stated well in Psalm 23 when David cries out to God. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Psalms 23:1-3 ESV.

We can take all of that in and use that as well of what we are going through in our world today but God is the almighty healer and is the one that can heal our live’s and restore our hearts and minds fully to the purpose for our life. As we are still in quarantine I wanted to take time and reflect and meditate on the wonderful glories that God has put on Earth for us to take advantage of by walking outside, taking in nature with the birds and the trees and the sun. When I go on walks it makes me remind me of my purpose in life and why God put me on this Earth, and the purpose I have in ministry and interacting with different people when there is no virus around the world.

Prayer Requests for Today:

Pray that all missions trips can still go out and do the Great Commission this summer, and change many peoples hearts and minds to fully reflect on the wonderful mercies that you have for their lives.

Pray that this virus some how gets contained and the numbers of confirmed cases comes down drastically.

Pray for the people who currently have the virus that there symptoms dissipate in the 2 weeks that they are in quarantine.

Pray that everything goes back to normal soon.

In Jesus Precious Name Amen.

Come back tomorrow for a reflection on Good Friday and why it is so relevant in Holy Week.

Joyfully,

I.C.M
