Peace Be Still

Focus Verse: Mark 16:15; 2 Corinthians 3:12

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15

Since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 2 Corinthians 3:12

In today’s world we should be proclaiming the Name of Jesus in every way so we can bring power to His almighty Name and so that he shall be glorified to the whole nation. As we see in these verses they both have similar focal points to stand upon that we shall be bold when proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus, and doing with the way that Jesus did when he was on earth with his disciples.

As i was meditating last night on one of the docks that is at one of the local beaches in the neighborhood I was taking in the amazing scenery that God has laid down on this earth and a verse that comes to mind is from the New Testament in Paul’s many letters that he has written as it is stated in scripture: Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. [Colossians 4:2] This verse comes to mind; because it takes in everything to give thanks in all circumstances whether it is a hard situation to deal with, and that to be steadfast in prayer and supplication and lay everything down at the foot of Jesus.

Lord i pray for all of the places that are opening back up that they follow protocols and all of the regulations from the local government officials, and I pray that people are mindful of their surroundings and i pray that the number of cases of COVID can flatten out, and i pray for a revival for this nation and the whole world that people can come together in unity to the stuff that they are doing is wrong and I pray for boldness for the nation’s leaders and local government officials in the decisions that they make people can follow upon to.
