Good Grace

Today marks when Jesus leaves the temple, and the crowd is amazed with the power of the works of the people. As i was walking around my neighborhood I was pondering on the verse reference on Psalm 46:1-3 which says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
I think in today’s society this verse relates to everything that is going on with this pandemic, and everyone going crazy and living in fear, but the only person that you can lean on is God to deal in this current situation that the world is currently in. We can ponder these words to tell another person who is living in fear, and we can tell them that you can find good grace if you fully rely on God for his dependence for your life.
A verse to reflect upon today from Jesus’s lasts day on Earth from the passage in Matthew. Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:16-20 ESV.
Joyfully,
