“saying: “ ‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the LORD!’ Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!””
Luke 19:38 NKJV
As Easter approaches there is so many things to be grateful for that the Lord blessed us with and then many blessings that the Lord has given for each of us. On that day when Jesus was crucified for taking my shame and sorrows away I am thankful that the Lord gave his son to die on the cross so that I could have life and learn about the miracles and prophecies that Jesus did before his death and made his predictions that he would rise on the 3rd day and so he did fulfill this promise.
My thoughts on how this relates in today’s society:
Many people do not believe that Jesus did not resurrect on the 3rd day, but I know there are signs that it happened and the records to back this up in the Dead Sea scrolls. Many people need to change their perception on how they view Easter and the resurrection of the risen savior and what it means when the end times come around read Revelation it has everything of what the end times will look like.
Prayer:
Dear Lord please give me the peace and courage to talk to someone about inviting them to Easter services so they can change the way that they are living and please give me the words to have a meaningful conversation with the person that I start to connect with.
In Jesus Name. Amen.
My takeaways from this verse:
1) This verse is similar to the Christmas story when the angels said Glory to God in the highest and on peace goodwill towards men.
2) I can takeaway that when Jesus was entering Jerusalem on the day of Palm Sunday everyone was joyous of his triumphal entry.
Verses to relate:
Luke 2
